Don't panic, don't panic...

Okay, so we're five days out and we are starting to get major butterflies. We are super excited, but have a lot of little things left to do before we go. Exchanging US dollars into Euros, packing, making copies of important documents, preparing for job interviews... We're so busy with trying to get everything done before we leave that it doesn't even feel real that we are leaving. Rob is especially starting to get cold feet ;) Amid all of the craziness though we are excited. We know that it is going to be an amazing trip regardless of how long it lasts. Talking with family and friends over the holidays have made us realize how truly lucky we are to be taking this journey and have full support from our family.

T Minus 15 Days!!

After 7 and a half years, I'm finally finished with a masters of education in counseling! It was nice to spend time with family at my graduation this past weekend. We leave for Spain in 15 days! We are so excited and can't wait to leave. However, being the procrastinators that we are, we still have a ridiculous amount of things to get done. We are in the process of developing our CV (curriculum vitae) aka resume so that we are able to get it out to possible schools that are hiring. We are also meeting with an academic adviser through our certification program tomorrow who we hope will be able to answer some of the questions we have about what to expect our first couple weeks in Spain. We know that the next two weeks will be a mess of excitement, anxiety, anticipation, and fear, but we are ready to get on our feet in Spain. Whenever we talk to people about it, we find ourselves saying the same thing, "I am tired preparing for what it will be like, I am simply ready to begin living it."
